Redesigning how founders build.

We exist to help female founders build businesses that no longer require them to hold everything together.

Aluna was founded on a single conviction: founder freedom is not something you earn by working harder.
It is something you design.

Meet Tara Philip

Tara is a business strategist with over eight years of experience across entrepreneurship, marketing, and sustainability-led growth.

She grew up as an athlete. Discipline shaped her early — the understanding that what you build slowly tends to hold.

At seventeen she began building businesses. A jewellery brand. A marketing agency. Nearly a hundred brands scaled over three years.

Then Covid arrived. She found herself helping brands push consumption that served a metric and not much else. The work looked right. It felt hollow.

She stepped back. Moved toward purpose-led businesses. Eventually stepped in-house for three years inside a mission-driven organisation she genuinely believed in.

What she saw most clearly: businesses were structured around rhythms that were never designed for the women running them. Constant push. Linear growth. Output as the only metric. And female founders paying for that with their health, their energy, and their capacity to be present for the lives they were building.

She knew there was a better way to build. That is how Aluna was born.

Building a business should feel like building something worth having. Not like becoming the only thing holding it together.

Her purpose is to help founders redesign the structure beneath the business — so it can grow without asking the founder to expand in order to contain it.

Every founder she works with is capable, thoughtful, and carrying too much. The problem is almost never the founder. It is always the architecture.

Aluna is a regenerative approach to business for female founders who are ready to build differently.

The work is architectural. It addresses the structure of the business — the systems, the model, the roles, the decision pathways — and the patterns beneath them that keep founders carrying more than they should.

It is for the woman who has proven she can build. Who is scaling. And who knows that the way she has been building is no longer sustainable. Not for the business. For her.

She does not need more motivation. She needs a different structure.

At our core

FREEDOM BY DESIGN

Freedom is not something you earn through more effort. It is something you build into the structure of the business from the start.

The Inspiration for the Name

REGENERATIVE AT THE ROOT

Sustainability is built into the model, not added as an afterthought. The business should restore, not deplete from the founder, the team, the environment and the world it operates within.

FOLLOWS THE RHYTHM OF LIFE

We work with the rhythms of the body and the natural world, not against them. Structure that forces override creates strain. Structure that works with flow sustains.

In Kogi philosophy, Aluna is the inner world. The living thought. The creative force from which all physical reality emerges.

Structure before expression. The inner architecture before the outer form.

For a practice built on the belief that the design underneath a business determines everything that can be built on top of it — there was no more precise word.

When you’re ready to build a business that supports you, we’re here.
